Does anyone make a rotary cutter that slides along a straight edge that you
can lay down on a mat and use in any direction?

I of course know about hand held rotary cutters, but those aren't good for
laying down a precise straight line cut.

A traditional rotary cutter with a straight edge is built into a cutter
board and so you are limited in the angles you can use it with.

I bought a drafting tool that has an adjustable angle (like a L-square or a
triangle but adjustable). I lay that on my flatbed rotary cutter, then align my
paper with the tool. Then I can cut any angle with it.

Try looking in a supply store that caters to engineers or architects. They have
great tools!
